Every once in a while, I Google myself out of curiosity. Just to see what’s out there. Bear with me – It was over 30 years ago. But I looked good. We all looked good. These photos capture moments from my career in the 1990s, a time filled with unforgettable naughty experiences and questionable collaborations. And I don’t regret any of it.
Tonight my browsing took me to many places – Vanessa Chase galleries, image search engines, forums – and I’m happy to say I made it home in one piece. My laptop probably has a new virus (or three), but it was a nice little jaunt. I’d never remember half of these shoots if there weren’t pictures to prove it. I was just a kid.
I saved a bunch of images as I meandered on through these questionable locations, and have just added 25+ Vanessa Chase images to the “Classics” gallery. Many of which I’d never seen, and definitely don’t remember. Did I mention it was 30 years ago?
These newly added images not only showcase stills from popular Vanessa Chase movies of the time, but also include candid shots and behind-the-scenes moments, offering a glimpse into my life as a young starlet.

What a fun time, and whirlwind conversation, I just had with the sweet and legendary Tom Byron, on his “That Dude” podcast! It was great to catch up with such an old friend (and “colleague”) after 30 gosh darn years.
It started slowly, as we gradually became reacquainted after so many years, but the tempo quickly got up to speed like no time had passed. We covered a ridiculous number of subjects, including:

There’s an idea running around in my head.
I’ve been live streaming at least once a week within my OnlyFans account for a couple of months now, and the fan feedback has been great. That isn’t going to change. But, it’s a “captive audience” and I’ve been thinking about doing cam shows at a wider scale. Out there in the big, bad world. What does everyone think? Would you join me?

Hello everyone! The big move from California to a new state has gone well, and hopefully I’ll have more time to work on the site from now on. Momentum is a difficult thing to maintain, but I do love writing here and interacting with fans. That will never change.
I was recently sent an old image by one of you, which I hadn’t seen in a long time. Actually, maybe I’d never seen it. And now for the second of my promised “favorites” lists. We started with 10 of the lovely ladies I was lucky enough to work with during my career, and will top it off with 20 (in 2 parts) I definitely wish I’d gotten the chance to.
With such a long list to write, and it could have been longer, I’ll keep it limited to my thoughts on the performer with links to their personal sites, Twitter accounts, my store, or at least somewhere you can learn more of their details. Some of these ladies are still in action, but many of them have long since retired from the adult industry. So we’ll have to take what we can get.
Why the doubling in list size? That’s simple – my career was less than two years total. Many, many amazing women came before and after my short era. There are no strict timelines or rules to this selection – they’re just beautiful, talented and standout women who caught my eye over the years – so please just indulge me, and enjoy. In alphabetical order:
Abella usually appears in the top 5 “most popular” filters on all of today’s major porn sites. Because she’s a big deal. Miss Danger is known for her outstanding (as in, outstanding) backside, her looks are just a little outside of the norm in terms of the popular platinum Stepford Wives of porn, and if our career arcs had been aligned I definitely would have had all the time in the world to work with this smoking modern superstar. While she is known for her steamy and acrobatic scenes, she also loves to share her love yoga or discuss serious topics like mental health on her social media. Though Abella Danger creates sizzling content, there’s no denying that she brings a lot more than just sexy videos and photos to the table. Keep on kicking butt, girl!
An absolute legend of the industry, I definitely had Amber on my radar after dipping my toe into all things adult while growing up and moving towards my own xxx ambitions. From winning an AVN Award, to featuring in main stream movies, her animal activism, to selling out shows at the hottest nightclubs – Amber Lynn has done it all in her four-decade-plus career. Her craft has won her legions of dedicated fans and made her one of the most popular adult stars in her field. Especially notable is her longevity in the business, current activity on social media, and absolutely amazing radio show which I’ve been enjoying for several weeks now.
With her red hair, larger-than-life attitude and mischievous smirk, to this day Aurora Snow is adored by fans and industry insiders alike. Aurora transgressed traditional norms by not just being a sex symbol, but through her brains, talent and presence. From starring in 36+ feature adult films, to appearing on various talk shows and in mainstream magazines, Aurora Snow makes sure to forever remain true to her values. Snow has been able to make a name for herself not only within the porn industry but also as a respected and prolific writer who has been widely published. Her books and articles span everything from erotica to politics – and they’ve all been thought-provoking reads. A shining example of a second act, and successful career, after porn ends.
Talk about someone who caught my eye, and kept it, from the very first time I laid eyes on this remarkable woman – that’s gotta be Belladonna. She went from dancer, to fast star, to production company boss, to a Paul Thomas Anderson movie, and all over the course of a decade (and a bit). It will be difficult to find anyone “in the know” who won’t agree that her work was some of the raunchiest, most creative and boundary-pushing in the history of our industry – just, wow. After all the success she had during her limelight, it looks like she’s chosen to become a private civilian. While I respect that immensely – I kinda miss her. Bella, where are you, and what are you doing? Inquiring Vanessas want to know!
While researching for a possible return to “the biz” about 3 years ago (which I obviously semi-eventually got around to), I caught a CamSoda show Brandi Love did with her husband and was immediately struck by her looks, fitness, personality and approachable persona. I’ll be honest – I noticed we likely lined up politically as well. It’s no surprise then that’s she’s gone from amateur, to pro, to one of the most undeniably successful “MILF” stars in the porn industry’s history – and that’s a crowded field. Brandi Love, if you see this, and have time during what must be an incredibly busy schedule, I’d love to get acquainted: @VanessaChaseOG on Twitter. Your professionalism, business-savvy and literally everything else is an inspiration.
Brianna was one of the first ladies I considered for this list. A friend pointed herout to me a few years ago, and I was disappointed to learn she’d retired after a 5-year career… so I’d missed the boat. I don’t know what I adored more: her mole, tinier bust, cute little nose, adorable voice, or that absolutely unforgettable bottom. I still haven’t decided, and probably never will. Brianna’s slight dimensions are as unique as her other adorable traits, and she definitely stood out among a sea of identical pinups during her time. She has (deliberately) drifted off everyone’s radar, but I wish her well and would have loved to work with her. Damn, would I have ever loved that.
There is no shortage of gorgeous adult stars working today. It can be hard to tell them apart, or find anything unique to latch onto, due to the diva deluge. That’s not a criticism, though – we’re just spoiled for choice in 2023. Regardless, the moment I saw a photo of Charity Crawford, the world stopped for a second. Was it the fit and slender body? The gorgeous face? Those unique eyebrows? It didn’t matter – I had to learn more. She shines on screen with so much enthusiasm, it’s no wonder she’s been able to build up a large fanbase in such a short amount of time. An absolutely gorgeous lady I’ve been keeping an eye on and had to add to this list. Best of luck, Charity, you definitely stand out to me and I hope you continue to be successful in this crazy line of work.
One of the first female stars to insist on working with women only (and with the exception of one scene she shot with her fiancée at the time it looks like she stuck to her guns), but that didn’t rule me out, and so Felecia has long been a personal favorite. Alas, while we were both active and working at the same time during the naughty 90s – a carnal collaboration was not meant to be. All I can do now is enjoy her impressive body of girl-on-girl work (while kicking myself). Such a face, such a body, such a missed opportunity, Felicia! If I could turn back time… I’d have had my agent call your agent and we surely would have “done some business” together.
Someone once told me that my performances paved the way for future generations of adult stars, and they used Gauge as an example. Already familiar (and in love) with her gusto, unique diminutive stature (she is one of the shortest porn stars ever), and willingness to take her scenes to new levels of debauchery in the best way – I was beyond flattered. Specifically, I remember her “handstand anal” scene from the early 2000s which I’d encourage everyone to seek out. My favorite little lady, maybe I’ll drop Gauge a line to say hello. Looks like she’s proudly active on Twitter and Instagram – for which we should all be thankful.
One of the reasons I love Jenna is because she always seemed to love her work. Performance after performance, she definitely helped spearhead the rise of “gonzo” and has a special place in adult history. The winner of more industry awards than you can count, after getting started around 2001 (only missed her by 4 years!) she worked exclusively with women for a time, but obviously that didn’t last. Jenna Haze hung up her thong in 2012, and now spends time as an author, student and public speaker, who never shies away from her time in the adult biz. A very impressive lady I would have worked with in a second. For much longer than a second.
I hope you enjoyed the first half of my wish list. I think my favorite part of putting it together (once the writing was done) was spending time perusing and choosing which sexy photographs to include with each starlet’s paragraph. I did not hate that process.

Here’s a frequently asked question I definitely don’t mind talking about: who are my favorite female 90s porn stars? Better yet, who are my favorites that I actually filmed with? I’ve gotten so many inquiries on the subject recently that I think it deserves a two-part series.
My Favorite Actual Female Co-Stars
Over the course of my comparatively short career, let’s just say… looking back, I got lucky. I had the pleasure of working with a lot of ladies who are memorable in their own unique ways, so let’s take a trip down (a naughty version of) memory lane. Their names are linked to the films we worked on, and I’ve also included relevant links if and when I found them.
Let’s get started, and in no particular order:
Misty Rain
We shared a pretty memorable group scene in 1995’s “Butt Banged Cycle Sluts”. Misty started her adult career in 1993 and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2004.
I vividly remember her enthusiasm, pierced nipples, and willingness to make a newcomer like myself feel comfortable. I wasn’t able to find any information as to what’s she’s up to these days – but I certainly remember our time together fondly.
Misty Rain’s husband picked me up for the shoot in his white limousine. I’d never been in one before that. My guy and ride at the time was in France working for Max Hardcore as his camera man.
It’s likely Misty has put her previous career behind her, and we should all respect that. We can still enjoy the memories, though.
Sinnamon Love
Sinnamon was hot personified, and we went one-on-one in 1994’s “Women of Color”, which is available to rent right here. She’s still active on Twitter and multiple other places, and I was so glad to see her active and doing so well. Bionca
Released in 1995, “Sodomania 12” saw the lovely and lithe Bianca and I teaming up against an extremely lucky Joey Silvera. It’s available for rent, and the amazing Rialto Report recently did an entire podcast episode on Bionca. If you’re unfamiliar with that site – you’re welcome! Because it’s amazing.

Debi Diamond
In addition to my solo scene in 1995’s “Wanted”, Debi Diamond and I also got to share a facial from Gerry Pike in a simmering MFF 3-way.
She appeared in her first film in 1983 as Shelly Rey, and has had more than a few aliases since. She dominated in the early 1990s, when she seemed to shoot non-stop, and her performances earned her many industry awards, including induction into the XRCO and AVN Halls of Fame.
We interacted a bit recently on Twitter, and it was great to hear from such a (still) sexy former “colleague”. Don’t be a stranger, Debi!
Jeanna Fine
I love Jeanna Fine, and getting to work with her in “Catwalk 2” was one of the highlights of my shortish career.
Her fit body, deep voice, acting ability and scorching on-screen persona made for a memorable group scene which also included Christina Angel, Roxanne Hall, Alex Sanders, Nick East and Tony Tedeschi.
I hear she now lives in upstate New York and is enjoying a peaceful retirement.
Juli Ashton
“Butt Detective” has to be among the best/most ridiculous porn film titles of all time. I recently re-watched this online and was shaking my head at how silly the premise was.
That didn’t change the fact my scene with Juli and Nicole Lace was one for the ages. I assume she’s still involved with Juliland.com, and I highly recommend their Bobbi Starr gallery. Such outstanding photography, Juli!
P.J. Sparxx
I’d heard of her, but didn’t know much about P.J. when I found out we’d be working together on 1994’s “Hot in the Saddle“.
When we met before our scene, one look at her got my juices flowing and I think the end, on-screen, result speaks for itself.
It was also great fun having Gail Force in the director’s seat. And what a great “seat” she has…
Rebecca Lord
Oh, Rebecca. Where do I even begin? Our scene together in Gangbang Girl #14 is without a doubt the single-most referenced film I’ve ever made when speaking with fans. Don’t take my word for it, though – just go here.
You can even see it mentioned in multiple post comments and an article or two here on IAmVanessaChase.com. And it’s no mystery as to “why” – that was an unbelievable shoot and legendary scene. I was sore for a week.
Whitney Banks
Part of a group afternoon scene shot for “Costa Rica Getaway“, also starring Kitty Yung, Marilyn Martyn, Joey Verducci, Michael J. Cox, Sean Michaels and TT Boy, my all-too brief encounter with Whitney Banks is one I’ll never forget.
I had a very hard time finding a PG-rated photo of Whitney, because it looks like her career was even shorter than mine! I hope she’s happy and doing well.
Barbara Doll
Barbara and I took full advantage of having the legendary Peter North all to ourselves back in 1995’s “Nurses are Cumming 2”. Hot like you read about, and you can see it for yourself right here.
She’s French, fabulous and foxy. Here’s hoping our paths cross again someday.
Kaylan Nicole
“Upbeat Love” was a fun 1995 shoot in which I had a scene featuring just me and Kaylan. The epitome of classic pin-up looks and style, Kaylan was one of the loveliest ladies I ever got to shoot with. She seems to have chosen to drift far from the public eye these days, and that’s her prerogative.
Roxanne Hall
Roxanne and I shared the screen with Nick East and Tony Tedeschi in the final scene from 1995’s “Catwalk“. I remember that she was from England, and it looks like her career was a long one, going strong until about 2012. I couldn’t find any social media profiles for her, but if you know something I don’t – leave a comment.
Nicole Lace
I have to double down on “Butt Detective” for my Nicole Lace memory. While I remember this scene fairly well, there’s not many references to her online these days, so I have to assume her time in the adult business was brief. And, coming from me, that’s saying something. Still, a fond memory of a lovely lady which made for a terrific scene.
